Spark Farm Park (with sculpture)

Spark Farm Park (with sculpture), was a joint sculpture park and permaculture-inspired urban farming experience in St. Joseph, MO. Co-created with Json Myers, Spark was a meeting point between art and nature, with sculptures sharing space with honey bees and edible plants. Open to the community, neighborhood kids with limited exposure to arts and plants played, and groups like master gardeners and bee keepers held meetings. Spark existed as an example of possible food systems, accessible contemporary art, and a retreat from life where one could walk the path and just be with nature.
